Venice Hill Condo

Postby X301 » Thu Jan 31, 2013 10:15 pm

Hi everyone,

I can't seem to find anything previously discussed about Venice Hill...so sorry if I'm missing something obvious, just started learning about investment..

I found some pretty cheap listings for condo units here, even around RM90 psf...seems to be a good location (to my newbie eyes) with Masterskill college nearby, Cempaka international school plus some malls also..summore with MRT station being constructed at Taman Suntex about 2km from VH.

However I found some reports that this area is heavy with African students who caused quite a ruckus, especially with one death last year plus got some more anecdotal horror stories about these foreigners running drug gangs, etc...I heard developer went bankrupt, and some banks apparently don't want to give loan for this condo as a result..I think got concern about slope stability? Not sure if things have changed since some of these I found go back a few years ago.

Is this area worth looking into, or am I wasting my time? I have this feeling like I'm missing something obvious..would appreciate thoughts, advice and input from all sifus here.. :?:

Thank you in advance..

No need to buy lah. Cheap cheap also no one want to rent except pak Hitam.

I got relatives bought this thing before bubble burst at year 1997. Was 250k then now 150k also susah.

The main problem with this project was inconvenient, expensive maintenance and many do not pay. At the end bad maintenance and run down. Some foreign investors didn't even come for years !

Better look for something else.

I foresee this will happen again in sibehfar don't shoot me. :silent:

2014 -- Market up up or Down Down also can. I don't care - as long as collecting rental.

My friend rented a unit here.

If possible, don't go for it.
Another problem is blacky.

Don't buy property just because it is cheap.. with so many negative factors that you have mentioned, still considering?

And there are more, not sure whether it has been settled..., anw, not worth mentioning... Just don't go for it la...

This remind me of Lagoon Perdana, full of African. You won't dare go in the lift with them. Don't waste your time and look for some for somewhere else.

If you really want to try , go for the standalone block facing Glomac. I think it is called Tower 8 or 9.Different management from the other 7 towers (the entrance is from the slope) , which owners fight over each other in different JMBs. This block is mostly rented to students of Masterskill and the manager is an ex-army guy, who run a tight management team there.
